Jaipur, also known as the pink city, is a city full of life and energy. I was inspired by the beauty of the 'Mahals' and Indian miniature paintings, and I created a piece of art that captures the essence of spring. My poem describes the awakening of mother earth, with a strong sense of earthiness conveyed through the use of terracotta. The elephants play a significant role in the 'Mahals', and it's a saddening fact that their numbers are dwindling. Without them, the world would be a much sadder place.
